Best Scarecrows for 2017, as voted by visitors to the Festival, are:
1st place – Alice and the Queen of Hearts by the Wisniewski family
2nd place – Lego Batman by Nick Fox
3rd place – Heroes We Never Forget by Cath and Rod Hulme
An additional prize for a scarecrow drawn at random went to Wendy & Trisha’s Sowerby Croft Team who made “Hannah Cockroft”
Norland now has three defibrillators in place and available for emergency use.
Their positions are:
- Norland Working Mens Club, Stormer Hill Lane, HX6 3RF
- St Luke’s Church, Berry Moor Road, HX6 3RN
- The New Hobbit, Hob Lane, HX6 3QL.
To use them phone the ambulance service and they will provide the access code of the defib unit closest to you.
